Editorial & Corrections Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
We write to explain, not to sell. Our aim is accuracy in plain language, and when we get something wrong we correct it openly rather than quietly hoping nobody noticed.
01Our Editorial Aim
Everything on PCDriverMax is written to help people understand how device drivers work, in calm and honest language. We avoid hype, scare tactics, and jargon for its own sake. The goal is genuine understanding, not clicks.
02How Articles Are Written
Articles are drafted, reviewed, and refined for clarity before publication. We explain general principles rather than issue step-by-step instructions for a specific device, because computers vary enormously from one setup to the next. Where a topic is simplified for readability, we try to say so.
03Independence
We are an independent, non-commercial project. No hardware maker, software company, or advertiser pays for or influences our content, and we do not run advertising or sponsored articles. That independence is the whole point of the site.
04Corrections
Mistakes happen. When we learn that something is inaccurate or unclear, we fix it. For small wording fixes we simply update the page. For anything that changes the meaning of an article, we aim to make the correction obvious rather than silent.
05Suggesting a Correction
If you spot an error or think an explanation could be clearer, we would genuinely like to hear it. Reach us through the contact form with the page and the detail you have in mind.
